For centuries, Black figures have appeared in Western artworks — often present, rarely narrated. Secondary silhouettes, nameless faces, bodies assigned a role.
Remounizé proposes revisiting these invisibilised presences, placing them at the centre of a new reading. A journey across five centuries, between Europe, Africa and the Atlantic worlds.
